2005 : A modern and high in quality
Beaujolais Nouveau

As each year at this period of the year, we are set to send our Beaujolais Nouveau all over the world.

To select these two wines, we have tasted close to 400 different cuvées, in order to elaborate wines
we like and want to offer you :
    - Beaujolais Nouveau comes from southern beaujolais, in the “Pierres Dorées” sector
    - Beaujolais Villages Nouveau come from Beaujeu, historical origin of the beaujolais wines.

These wines are the first of 2005 to be finished and can be tasted right now. This year, vinegrower’s wisdom made them reduce yields and allowed us to elaborate wines with a very fruity “primeur” personnality, but also winy and powerful for a wine issued from gamay grapes.

Trenel’s 2005 primeurs are caracterised by tender aromas of red fruits, like strawberry and redcurrant, and are unsually ample for such wines.
These wines are delicacies that will accompany not only traditional “saucisson cuit”, but also the “Pot au feu
aux trois viandes”.

2005 primeurs are definitely modern and responsible for Trenel Fils : we chose to use screw caps
for this year’s campain.
Why use cork for a wine made to be drunk fast
at a time when forests already are insufficent to satisfy world demand ?

We truly hope that you will share all the pleasure
we had to elaborate our Beaujolais Nouveaux !
